We have in this book
many ancient stories of the Batman. Some from his debut during which he kills
the bad guys (shocking), others drawn from the fantastic era where he fought
(and killed (shocking)) monsters or went into space fighting robots. And we
have the appearance of Bat-Mite, which is the first character that addresses
directly to the authors (authors who are represented in the episode, incredible
and unimaginable mise en abime until then). I thought Deadpool was first, but
no, Bat-Mite was thirty-five years early. Here. It's an excellent album, which
smells like an old book (and for a reason, it is an old book), the smell that I
love so much. I just love it!!
